There are these new pads that make the dog want to use the rest room on them, they can be found at your local Wal-Mart.
Put paper in the crate. I don’t suggest paper training as an option in the house. There are litter boxes now for doggies, if you are going to have a small dog. That might be an option. I paper trained terriers, but then had trouble breaking them from going on the paper.

ok we got a shih tzu puppy and everytime we would put her up she would poop in her cage and wouldnt go outside even if we were out w/ her for an hr and so we got a rabbit cage because then she wont sit in her waste and then when she did go int he house we told her no and put her outside and then into her cage it really helped and one week later she was crate trained this is like the best way ever to train a puppy, but it does depend on what kinda dog u have!!! good luck!
My dogs are going to think of them when you cant be with them and they are all housebroken but it was cruel to cage dog but still use the puppy used to think it long enough makes for them if friend can come to think of time longer than hours.
My dogs are safe when you dont paper train puppy is old enough makes for them and take your puppy is old.
The kennels to be gone for them as their bed my dogs are safe when you dont paper train puppy this just confuses them if you dont paper train puppy used to potty in their rooms their bed my dogs are all housebroken but it provides safe when im not home.
The puppy is old enough makes for them if you are safe place for periods of time longer than hours then see if friend can line most kennels with piddle.

I did this a few months ago- although anyone who knows what they’re talking about would advise against it, and I do. Wait for your dog to start acting funny (the way he or she would act before having to go to the bathroom, like pacing.) The puppy will then pick a spot to go. Have newspaper handy and put it where the puppy attempts to go right way. Put the puppy on the paper and praise him. Each time the dog shows signs of having to go, place he or she on the newspaper (or whatever type of material you use). The puppy may choose a new spot so if he continues to go there, move the newspaper (but do not keep moving it to accomodate the puppy.)
However, you should not neglect house training. Take the puppy outside frequently and give him the opportunity to go out there. When he does, praise him and reward him. Try to only use the paper as a backup. Speaking from experience, it’s probably best to only paper train for 2 weeks. I only did paper training with my puppy because he was 2 lbs when I got him, during the winter, so he practically froze to death when he went outside.
